About the role:
We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of “Student Counsellor” on a part time basis (2-3 days each week)
You need to be a qualified counsellor to apply for this role.
Your General duties will include-
Duties:
- Act as an advocate for students providing them formal and informal counselling support.
- Monitor and provide appropriate diagnostic interventions to resolve critical or psychological problems.
- Assist the program coordinators by providing counselling and related services for students and in personal / academic issues.
- Maintain a high level of professional expertise through ongoing professional development and maintaining standards of SP Jain’s counselling policies.
- Assist in realistic goal setting and plan to achieve.
- Periodically, attend class and outside class activities to gauge student class preparedness, academic performance and behaviour.
- Helping students to cope with academic pressures.
- Provide consistent coaching and feedback for academic and personal success
- Encourage and instil professional attitude (appearance and behaviour) as well as facilitate cultural sensitivity.
