The Team Leader – headspace Early Psychosis (Continuing Care Team) will provide clinical leadership and line management to a team of mental health clinicians and support staff. The team provides recovery-focused services that help consumers’ employment, educational and social perspectives.

About You
The Team Leader – headspace Early Psychosis (Continuing Care Team) will:
- Manage the day to day operations of the team – consists of approximately 8 people who are clinicians and support staff
- Lead the ongoing development and implementation of the model of care specific for their team to ensure timely, high quality and accessible services are provided
- Work collaboratively to maintain effective, sustainable relationships with young people and their families/significant others and relevant service systems to engage and promptly respond to their mental health and developmental needs.
Essential Criteria:
Qualifications:
Approved tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker), and provisional or full membership with AHPRA or AASW
Experience:
- Significant clinical expertise and leadership experience of a minimum of 3 years
- Proven expertise in the application of evidence based clinical practice within the mental health field in both a case management and therapeutic role
- Substantial experience and demonstrated skill in the coordination of individualised psychosocial interventions to meet the needs of young people and consumers presenting with a variety of mental health concerns based on a case formulation approach
- Ability to lead and manage a clinical team and to provide appropriate feedback, performance management and adhere to all staff recruitment procedures
- Capacity to allocate resources, set priorities and ensure budgets are met within the services to deliver strategic outcomes
- Able to develop/implement and deliver strategic business plans which increase the level of care to customers within a budget framework.
