Title: Care Coordinator- Family Support
Type: Full time
Hours: 76 Hours per fortnight
Location: Casino and Coraki 

About The Organisation  
Rekindling The Spirit is a not-for-profit organisation providing health and wellbeing services to Aboriginal people throughout the Lismore Region.

The purpose of the position is to support vulnerable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children (Under 12 years) and families who are at risk or affected by Mental Ilness through coordinating practical assistance, non-clinical therapeutic support, education and information services helping reduce barriers in accessing services.

Selection Criteria

  1. Applicants must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
  2. Cert IV Qualification in relevant areas such as Community Service, Mental Health and/or Counselling.
  3. Experience working with Aboriginal Children and Families with complex needs and demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health.
  4. Highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills. 
  5. Class C drivers license.
