JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide therapeutic assessments and interventions for young people aged between 12-25 years
  • Work with-in a Nationally recognised Program (headspace)
  • Be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing holistic support and integrated care to young people

Joining us, you’ll work with an experienced multi-disciplinary team of individuals who are focused on providing specialist support services to young people. Working with young people your day to day role will incorporate assessments, individual support sessions and coordinating care, your work will be diverse and impactful/meaningful

We are looking for a passionate individual with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications  or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in delivering brief therapeutic interventions, psychoeducation and treatment planning
  • Ability and experience to conduct risk assessments, including suicide, self-harm and violence risks, and to develop safety and wellbeing plans to mitigate these risks
  • Previous experience working with diverse populations
