About the role 
Gen Physio is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative allied health provider that specialises in delivering home visit services. We are seeking experienced Speech Pathologists to join our friendly, collaborative, and supportive team as a regional clinical supervisor. This role is responsible for managing a diverse case load whilst mentoring and helping to supervise a team of speech pathologists.

Duties 

  • Manage a diverse caseload from Paediatrics through to Geriatrics.
  • Provide treatment and therapy plans responding to communication disorders, early communication skills, expressive and receptive language, and articulation
  • Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals to ensure the client is getting a truly community-orientated service
  • Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines
  • Supervising a team of speech pathologists, helping with PD plans and best practice
  • Be able to develop and train team members on specific billing practices, especially within the NDIS framework

Skills and experience 

  • Have at least 3 years experience as a Speech Pathologist
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Speech Pathology
  • Full SPA registration   
  • National Police Check, First Aid, and CPR (or willing to obtain) 
  • Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain) 
  • NDIS and Working with Children Checks (or willing to obtain)
