The DFV Case Manager provides relevant, accessible, trauma informed and responsive support to women who have been affected by domestic and family violence at the level of serious threat. 

Women who are accessing the Local or Family Courts in Parramatta or who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander or disadvantaged by language, disability or other circumstances are prioritised for the service. 

The DFV Case Manager will organise referrals for ongoing support for the family and assist with women’s immediate needs including emergency relief and accommodation. Where their matter is before the Courts as a Hearing, the DFV Case Manager will explain the legal processes and provide one-on-one support at the Court during the Hearing with the aim of empowering women to safely participate in court processes and hearings.
