JOB DESCRIPTION

The White Cloud Tele-Mental Health service, launched in August 2021, is not a crisis line but a free service focussed on the prevention and escalation of depression and anxiety.  Our team consists of a range of multidisciplinary mental health specialists ranging from  Psychologists and Counsellors to Dietitians and Social Workers, who work on a volunteer basis, to care for our clients via tele-health appointments no matter where they live.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Tele-Mental Health Service Manager  will be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude who will provide a range of coordination, supervisory and managerial services to the team.

This role is full-time and based at White Cloud’s Tele-Mental Health office in Moorooka.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Manage and supervise a voluntary team of mental health professionals and students
  • Recruit additional clinical volunteers and work with universities on student placements
  • Ensure all staff adhere to the Model of Care and all processes and policies, developing new processes and policies as needed
  • Appropriately manage client queries, concerns and incidents
  • Oversee record keeping, undertake data analysis and complete monthly reporting on service performance
  • Assist with compiling funding submissions as required
  • Develop and deliver ongoing training programs

About You

The successful candidate will have 2-3 years management experience coupled with strong communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and a friendly disposition.

You will be flexible in adapting to change as per service needs. In addition, you will be comfortable learning new systems and be well organised with the ability to determine competing priorities to meet timelines.

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience in health care environment is highly desirable.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Currently hold or willingness to obtain a National Police Check (Blue Card )
