About us

The Wild Hearted Projects is a boutique service aimed to support those who are who are vulnerable within our community.

These vulnerabilities could be due to homelessness, child protection issues, complex developmental trauma, transgenerational trauma, domestic violence, exposure to mental health, drug and alcohol issues, disability, and those with a in or at risk of entering the criminal justice system.

We remain an organisation priding themselves on high quality, personal, trauma informed care and support to vulnerable individuals.

Our niche is working in child protection and persons with forensic and criminal history. We cater to the Sydney and Greater Sydney Area.

Qualifications & experience

  • A minimum of two years’ experience working vulnerable persons
  • Relevant Bachelor and or Post Grad degree in Social work, psychology, or other allied health professions.
  • Have experience and or knowledge of complex trauma, and the impact trauma can have on a person with a disability.
  • Have experience working with persons who have a forensic criminal history.
  • Experience and or knowledge of working with persons with mental health, drug and alcohol misuse and working in a trauma informed manner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and persons from a Non-English Speaking background.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • High analytical skills and ability to form assessments on risk.
  • Extensive experience in writing skills and experience writing complex reports and assessments.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act NSW 1998.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Case management and client focused service
  • Writing Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, Functional Behavioural Assessments, Interim Behaviour Plans and Restrictive Practice planning.
  • Review and monitor behaviours through ABC charts, sleep and eating charts and incident reports.
  • attend various stake holder meetings.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and attend team meetings.
  • Provide client focused service.
  • Provide participants behavioural strategies through various forms of counselling and case work.
  • Provide NDIS support services training in relationship to behavioural training.

  • Sub-contracting role paying approximately 60-90 dollars and hour depending on level of experience.
