Our Professional Services offering delivers Behavioral Support, Support Coordination, Psycho-Social Recovery, and Disability Support Workers to individual NDIS participants. Growth in demand has created an opportunity for a suitable person to join our Queensland team (based in Strathpine) as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • The development, implementation and review of Behaviour Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and positive behaviour support strategies aimed to maximise positive outcomes for people with disability.
  • Responsibilities in managing all required reporting in line with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, state and commonwealth legislation, rules and regulations and ONCALL policy and procedure.
  • Delivery of least restrictive, person-centred positive behaviour support strategies that promote each person’s dignity and human rights.

We are seeking someone who brings:

  • Relevant qualifications such as Social Work, Psychology, Allied Health, etc.
  • Knowledge of Behaviour Support within the NDIS context, and experience in a role delivering supports and maximizing positive outcome for clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with people with disability, families, and internal and external partners.
