headspace Connect Clinical Coordinator

  • Full time opportunity based in Melbourne – WFH and in our CBD office.
  • Leadership role in a rapidly expanding, innovative digital mental health program.

About the role

headspace Connect offers innovative teleweb services dedicated to supporting young people, aged between 16 and 25 years, who contact one of the program’s participating headspace centres chosen based on their high service demand or regional location.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to

  • lead a team of mental health clinicians in the delivery of one-to-one support via telephone, web-, and video chat.
  • develop and grow the headspace Connect program to reach more young people in more locations.
  • Be part of pioneering digital resources and services for young people and their families as part of the headspace Digital Mental Health Programs strategy.

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking someone with

  • Great passion in developing and delivering comprehensive digital resources and services to support the emotional health and wellbeing of young people.
  • Expert knowledge of mental health and social issues faced by young people, indicated treatments, and supports.
  • Significant management experience in the development and leadership of clinical teams.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder relationship management.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member.
  • Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline, including social work, psychology, mental health nursing, and occupational therapy, or a Masters in Counselling (minimum Level 4, ACA).
