Based in Western Sydney, I’m looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Caseworker to provide early intervention services to children, youth and families. These families are at risk of entering the child protection system.

Role;
Based in Western Sydney, I’m looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Caseworker to provide early intervention services to children, youth and families. These families are at risk of entering the child protection system.
You’ll provide early intervention case management services to families with a range of complex needs; provide planning, support and structure for the safety of the children and young people; complete a variety of assessments; assist the families in achieving their goals; and more.
Criteria;
- Degree qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Bachelor’s Degree
- Relevant casework or clinical experience with at risk children and their families
- Highly skilled in child protection interventions
- Demonstrated ability to engage families in crisis
- Demonstrated experience using a variety of evidence based intervention strategies
- Understanding and experience providing culturally safe and sensitive interventions
- 3 Covid Vaccinations
Additional Information;
- Experience in working within a therapeutic casework model is highly desired
- Fluency in a community language and/or strong connections to diverse culture is highly desired
- Current NSW drivers licence required
- A successful NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Federal Police check is required prior to starting in this role
- You must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
