Are you a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Service Manager looking for a new career opportunity?

MARS Healthcare are currently working with an innovative Youth Services organisation who are seeking a passionate and Experienced Manager to lead their team in Perth WA.

This role is based in Burswood, working with a prominent Youth Services provider, overseeing the Perth metro area ensuring the optimisation of life opportunities for young people experiencing challenges in mental health. As a service manager you will be required to provide clinical supervision & guidance, including professional support to the clinical team and programs team within the Perth Metro area. In addition to this, the role includes building capacity, ensuring retention, developing networks, creating lasting relationships, continuing improvements, and team knowledge management. About the Role:

Management and Team Building:

  • Cultivate a team culture aligned with organisational values.
  • Manage operations and services for the Perth Metro team.
  • Provide bi-weekly clinical supervision and support to the counselling team.
  • Coordinate client care within your team, ensuring a strong grasp of caseloads and treatment plans.
  • Offer immediate support and debriefing to your team and the broader clinical team when required.

Administrative and Compliance:

  • Oversee administrative aspects, including student placements, professional development, and leave.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, statutory, and organisational policies.
  • Report potential risks and concerns to the COO.
  • Manage clinical and staffing matters within your team, with HR support.
  • Assist the Intake team as needed.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold tertiary level qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing.
  • Current registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW).

Other Position Relevant Requirements:

  • Strong understanding and appreciation of workforce and client/stakeholder diversity.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Working with Children Check Card.
