About the role
We are seeking an AOD Practitioner for our Therapeutic Day Rehabilitation Program! You will be responsible for the facilitation of the Therapeutic Day Rehabilitation (TDR) program utilising a combination of strategies. Additionally, you will provide group work, one to one intervention and family support for individuals experiencing AOD related problems.

Responsibilities include

  • Effective relationships established with clients that encourage self-determination and participation
  • Case management support provided to clients and their families
  • Individual treatment plans are developed in collaboration with clients and include a range of interventions
  • Clients are assisted to access support services and establish community supports
  • Therapeutic group sessions are delivered in accordance with the client needs
  • Progress of individual treatment plans are regularly monitored and reviewed

This is a fixed-term full-time position, 12 months from start date, based in Bendigo, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 5 Award.

You will have

  • Bachelor of Human Services, Master of Social Work
  • Diploma in Health or Community Services
  • AOD skill set or willing to obtain within 12 months
  • Relevant experience in a social service environment
  • A Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
