About the role

We have an opportunity for a passionate and motivated Coordinator to join our Youth and Homelessness team on a permanent full time. This role will maintain a caseload of clients, participate, and guide the referral intake process. Support young people and their families with counselling, mediation, advocacy and practical support. You will also provide supervision to case workers, including professional advice and consultation.

About you

You’ll have a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people and their families.

  • Tertiary Degree in relevant Human Services field is desired
  • Understanding of evidence-based service, models for working with young people and their families
  • Knowledge of issues presented by homeless youth, those at risk of homelessness and their families
  • Experience in case work practice within the community sector
  • Working with Children Check
  • Drivers Licence
  • National Police Clearance from within the last 6 months
  • COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
