About the Role

We require a casual Sexual Assault On-Call Counsellor to join our Sexual Assault Response Team.  The Sexual Assault On call worker’s responsibilities include participation in a 24 hour on-call roster system where workers provide a high-quality trauma informed psychosocial crisis response to children, adolescents, and adult victims of recent sexual assault where the sexual assault has occurred in NSW outside of business hours. If called in, the SAS on-call worker works with victims of sexual assault and their non-offending family members and significant others and provides coordination of social support,  advocacy, medical care and forensic examination for the purpose of evidence collection.
