Job Description:
As a Psychiatrist at Theta Clinic, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients with various mental health conditions. You will work in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, including TMS therapy, medication management, and psychotherapy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Prescribing and managing psychiatric medications if needed.
- Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Providing support to patients and their families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree with specialization in psychiatry.
- APHRA Registration as a psychiatrist in Australia.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
- Accreditation for TMS is preferrable but not necessary.
Salary: We offer a supportive working environment. Negotiable pay sessional or Medicare billings.
