Qualifications & experience
- For Newcastle and Central Coast, we are seeking an experienced consultant with an Allied Health background of Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor, Social Worker, Nurse or Exercise Physiologist
- For Sydney metro, we are seeking an experienced consultant with an Allied Health background of Rehab Counselling or Psychology
- Minimum 12 months experience within occupational rehabilitation
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Client centric focus
Tasks & responsibilities
- Case management of clients with physical and/or psychological injury/illness
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance on recovery and return to work
- Conduct a wide range of assessments, including Functional, Vocational, Initial Needs Assessments, Activities of Daily Living, etc
- Attend Medical Case Conferences with various specialists/health practitioners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Doctors, Allied Health Professionals, Employers, Insurers and Brokers
