Case Manager, Navigator (Boost Groups) Anglicare Victoria

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Position:

Hours: 11.4hrs or 1.5 days per week

Contract Term: 15 January  2024 – 30 September 2024 (with the possibility of extension).

The main role of this position is to deliver our Navigator Boost Groups- Education Re-engagement programs- that run once a week in school term for 10-17yr olds and Parent information sessions that operate online after hours twice per term.

Navigator Western Melbourne operates a school re-engagement program supporting young people 10-17yrs to explore education pathways and return to education. Utilising your experience working with schools, this Case Management (Boost Groups) position will support young people who have disengaged from education and their parents through the delivery of groups. The position reports to the Western Melbourne Team leader and will work alongside other team case managers, and the broader Navigator team, to ensure the successful implementation of this program

 

To be successful in this position you will need:

•           Tertiary qualifications in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Youth and/or Welfare.

•           Experience in case management and delivering groups for vulnerable children, young people and families

•           Experience working with schools

 

What you should know:

  • Salary is in line with Level 5 SCHCADS
  • Negotiable through the increments dependent upon experience
  • Office location: Werribee
  • Fixed term contract 15 January 2024 – 30 September 2024 (with the possibility of extension).
