Position: Part-time Clinical TMS Technician

 

Mind Connections Specialist Health Service is actively seeking a dedicated individual to join our Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Clinics, serving Norwest and the adjacent Hills District. This role, initially part-time, has the potential to transition to a full-time position, with the flexibility to work at our Carlingford Practice for two days a week.

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Science (biology) or completed Psychology degree.

Strong computer skills, including knowledge of PC-based operating systems.

Excellent interpersonal skills for interactions with patients, staff, clinicians, and families.

Experience in mental health or medicine.

Ability to complete TMS Certification (training provided).

Experience working with patients dealing with anxiety and depression (preferred).

 

Additional Responsibilities:

 

Collaboration with reception staff and occasional reception duties as part of the team.

Demonstrated experience in the Mental Health field (preferred).

Relevant TAFE or tertiary qualifications.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid driver’s license.

Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Working with Children Check and a clear police clearance.

Other Requirements:

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong multitasking skills.
