The role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Western Melbourne and working closely with a team of highly skilled clinicians, your responsibilities will include the provision of high quality, culturally sensitive relationship counselling and therapy, including education programs to individuals, couples, and families as required. You will apply your skills and expertise in childhood development and family dynamics to respond to a diverse range of issues including: trauma, violence and abuse, parenting concerns, relational issues, stress and anxiety, separation and divorce and blended families.

These positions are based at our centre in Sunshine and are part-time for three (3) days per week including one evening shift a week. These positions are on a fixed term contract, covering parental leave until June 2024 with a possibility of extension.

About you

• Degree qualified in family therapy, social work, counselling, or psychology.
• Previous supervised professional experience in relationship counselling and family violence.
• Demonstrated application of therapeutic modalities relevant to working with individuals, couples and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals and couples where family violence is present and accurately assess for family violence.
• Understand and be able to practically apply relevant legislative regulations.

The base salary range is $92k-$99k (pro-rata) per annum.
