Wellbeing Consultant (Supporting Minds)
The Supporting Minds Service delivers short term (up to 3 months) clinical and non-clinical, individual and group recovery-focused psychosocial support services to adults (16+); experiencing moderate emergent decline in mental health as a result of situational distress or youth (12+) and adults (16+) identifying as LGBTIQAP+ requiring culturally specific support in the Gold Coast region.
This position is responsible for providing recovery oriented, client centred, socially inclusive and culturally appropriate mental health services to individuals (16+) experiencing situational distress arising from risk of homelessness, domestic violence, pending legal proceedings or significant financial hardship; which can include warm transfer to other appropriate services.
The contract is until June 30 2025 with possibility of extension.
