CAMHS Case Manager – MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Salary: $60 – $80 per hour + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

*ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVEL INCLUDED*

Location: South Hedland, Western Australia

Contract: 3 or 6 month flexible and ongoing contract

The role:

  1. Developmental Mental Health Assessment: Conduct assessments to understand the mental health needs and developmental aspects of young people within your caseload.
  2. Collaborative Recovery Planning: Work closely with young people, their families, and carers to create collaborative recovery plans. This involves developing strategies and goals for mental health improvement.
  3. Evidence-Based Mental Health Intervention: Provide evidence-based interventions to address the mental health concerns identified during assessments and incorporated into recovery plans.
  4. Participation in Care Team Meetings: Collaborate with other professionals in Care Team meetings to discuss and coordinate the care of individuals within the service.
  5. Discipline-Specific Assessment and Intervention: Utilize your specific discipline (Social Work or Psychology) to tailor assessments and interventions based on the needs of the young people.
  6. High-Quality Service: Deliver a high-quality service that reflects best practice and adds value to internal customers and consumers.
  7. Support Clinical Effectiveness: Assist the organization in achieving clinical effectiveness by providing the appropriate systems, information, or services to clinical areas.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Social Worker or Registered Psychologist: Hold qualifications as a Social Worker or Registered Psychologist.
  2. Professional Registration: Eligibility for AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers) or AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) Registration.
  3. CAMHS Experience: Previous experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service position.
  4. Working With Children’s Check: Possess or be willing to obtain a Working With Children’s Check.
  5. National Police Check: Possess or be willing to obtain a National Police Check.
  6. Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate: Provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination and relevant immunization history.
