The Role:
- Full-time (75 hours per fortnight) – Mon to Fri
- Permanent position based in Roxby Downs
As the Flipside Clinician you will provide early intervention mental health support to people aged between 10-25 years in Roxby Downs and the surrounding area. In addition, the Flipside Clinician will engage with young people throughout the community through various education/workshops, schools and other forums to upskill community leaders and ambassadors who support young people in their future.
You will:
- Build relationships with young people and families while providing psychosocial support and facilitating youth activities.
- Provide support to young people individually and through various group forums.
- Link young people with community supports.
- Participate in mental health community awareness.

To apply you will need:
- Qualifications as a Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists.
- Current registration with relevant authority (AHPRA or AASW).
- Knowledge of Evidenced-based focused psychological strategy interventions including the understanding of current theoretical concepts.
- Be able to deliver collaborative, goal orientated, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and strategies within a primary care setting.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a collaborative model of care, implementing assessment and treatment services.
- To consult and liaise with other health & community service agencies to facilitate a coordinated approach in treatment and recovery.
