Clinician (Flipside) Country and Outback Health Inc

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role:

  • Full-time (75 hours per fortnight) – Mon to Fri
  • Permanent position based in Roxby Downs

As the Flipside Clinician you will provide early intervention mental health support to people aged between 10-25 years in Roxby Downs and the surrounding area.  In addition, the Flipside Clinician will engage with young people throughout the community through various education/workshops, schools and other forums to upskill community leaders and ambassadors who support young people in their future.

 

You will:

  • Build relationships with young people and families while providing psychosocial support and facilitating youth activities.
  • Provide support to young people individually and through various group forums.
  • Link young people with community supports.
  • Participate in mental health community awareness.

 

About You:

To apply you will need:

  • Qualifications as a Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists.
  • Current registration with relevant authority (AHPRA or AASW).
  • Knowledge of Evidenced-based focused psychological strategy interventions including the understanding of current theoretical concepts.
  • Be able to deliver collaborative, goal orientated, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and strategies within a primary care setting.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a collaborative model of care, implementing assessment and treatment services.
  • To consult and liaise with other health & community service agencies to facilitate a coordinated approach in treatment and recovery.
