ABOUT THE ROLE. 

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Lifestyle Facilitator to join our team at Emmaus, providing resident directed lifestyle services in our aged care facility. The successful applicant will be committed to the person-centred approach, work co-operatively and respectfully with residents, co-workers, families, visitors and volunteers. 

You will be excited for the opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives. 

The position will be offered to the successful applicant as a full-time permanent position, 76 hours a fortnight (Mon-Fri). 

 

WHO YOU ARE  

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (Required)
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (Desirable)
  • Experience in delivering and coordinating recreational lifestyle programs within an aged care environment  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team  
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills  
  • Intermediate computer skills (experience with Microsoft suite of products and open to learning new technology)   
  • Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles
