We’re looking for someone who wants to make the world a little better through small moments that leave big impacts. To build meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of others.

An integral part of our UnitingCare’s Domestic Violence Service as a Case Worker you’ll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about.

Your part in our UnitingCare team

We are seeking a Case Worker to join our Cherbourg team on a full-time permanent basis. What makes a difference for us?

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field
  • Experience in working with women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
  • Knowledge of practices in relation to child protection, child development, domestic and family violence and working with women and children in a culturally appropriate manner.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Current Qld Driver Licence
  • Willing and able to participate in shared on-call responsibilities including weekend and evening work.

What makes a difference for you?

At UnitingCare we are leaders in crisis response, the protection of vulnerable children, financial resilience and family wellbeing. Our FaDs team work passionately across Queensland to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
