What’s the job?
This is a fast-paced and challenging role where you will:
- Work with patients and mental health clinicians to book and manage telehealth video consultations via our software platform, onsite in our Blackburn, VIC office
- Be a critical point of contact for our GPs and specialist doctors and help them manage their consultation flow
- Help patients attend appointments
- Feed important information back to the broader team so we can improve our product offering

Position description:
We are looking for a talented, full-time Mental Health Coordinator to successfully coordinate the nationwide delivery of our telehealth mental health services.
- Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking mental health medical services.
- Conduct virtual mental health triage assessments through phone calls, SMS, and emails.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments with mental health professionals based on the triage assessments.
- Maintain a compassionate and empathetic approach while interacting with patients.
- Ensure all communication and interactions adhere to confidentiality and privacy standards.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- medical administrative, nursing, mental health, disability work experience is a plus
- customer service work experience is a plus
- collect and manage key information, including organising and monitoring patient data
- multi-task, prioritise and schedule a wide variety of tasks and activities
- listen effectively and communicate in a clear and articulate manner to engage medical providers, patients and other medical institutions.
- have excellent attention to detail, and will produce accurate, high-quality reports and documentation
- develop trusted customer relationships with a focus on achieving customer satisfaction
- successfully meet changing demands and situations, including dealing with a diverse range of clients
- maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- be proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar software (familiarity with medical management software and video-conferencing software is a plus).
