2 x Family Contact Worker/Casework Support Coffs Harbour and Grafton ABCARE

JOB DESCRIPTION

An opportunity exits to join Abcare as a Family Contact Worker/Casework Support in Out of Home Care (OOHC) in both Coffs Harbour or Grafton. The key responsibilities of the role are to facilitate, support and supervise Birth Family Contact between children and their parents and to offer practical assistance to the OOHC case workers. 

Abcare promotes self-determination of Aboriginal children/young people and carers. Promoting safety and protection to the children and young people in our care, in accordance with legal and best practice requirements.  

The position is 38 hours per week that requires the ability to work independently whilst meeting prescribed health and activity outcomes.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a Working with Children Clearance and be subject to National Police Check.
