Up to $20,000 incentive payments may be available to support relocation
(Be reimbursed for rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more). The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill.
The new workforce relocation and incentive grants program is being administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).

About the role
- The Acute Response Team (CATT) is a seven day a week team providing acute assessment in the community setting, MHED compliments the ART with providing timely response to person presenting in Psychiatric crisis or at risk to the Grampians Health Emergency dept in Ballarat
- Our Access and Triage team function are responsible for the screening of all referrals to Grampians Health. Determining service response under the guidelines of the Statewide Triage rating scales.
- There is a great opportunity for clinicians to join a progressive team that allows flexibility and an opportunity to gain experience and job satisfaction in differing aspects of this team. The team is well supported by Full time Psychiatrist and Psych registrar
Skills and experience
- Relevant professional qualification in a health-related discipline (psychology, nursing, social work or occupational therapy)
