ADF Rehabilitation Consultant – relocate to Darwin, Katherine or Canberra! Big Umbrella

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is an innovative provider of Workplace Rehabilitation Services with an impressive national footprint. This organisation is the exclusive provider of Rehabilitation services to the ADF & also, has a growing Workplace Health division. 

We are recruiting for specialist ADF Rehabilitation Consultant roles in Darwin, Katherine & Canberra

Interest from Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Exercise Physiologists, Registered Nurses, Psychologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors or Social Workers is welcome.

The Job:

  • On-base ADF roles, working closely with ADF members who have sustained an injury
  • Proactively manage your caseload – engage clients & liaise with stakeholders to facilitate a safe & timely return to deployable status
  • Perform discipline-specific assessments, attend case conferences
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the ADF including its structure, procedures & terminology to facilitate optimum outcomes for clients
  • Make a valuable contribution in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment  
  • Consistent & structured role with limited travel 

Hybrid & off-base roles are available for candidates interested in a flexible work arrangement & working with a variety of clients.

The Perfect Candidate:

  • Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Osteopath, Exercise Physiologist, Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor or Social Worker
  • Relevant professional body membership
  • 1+ year Workplace Rehabilitation experience ideal, though applications from candidates with Clinical backgrounds & motivated graduates also welcome!
  • Due to the unique nature of the role, RNs must hold Workplace Rehabilitation &/or Defence experience
  • Interest in developing your skills in a specialist ADF Consultant role 
  • A bright, motivated approach 
  • Australian citizenship & willingness to complete security checks
  • COVID vaccination is not essential, though will be required if government mandates return
  • Driver’s licence & car
