Administration Assistant (3rd/4th year psychology student) Healing Connections Psychology

JOB DESCRIPTION

Healing Connections Psychology is an established private psychology practice, based in Albany Creek in North Brisbane. The practice has an extensive referral base and is well respected in the community as a practice that offers a very high standard of client care and effective treatment for teens, adults, and families presenting with a wide range of difficulties. Healing Connections Psychology strives to maintain a culture that fosters job satisfaction via a supportive team environment with mentoring support for your professional development.

 

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This position includes flexible work arrangements for a casual contract of 8-12 hours per week (business hour availability required) and would suit someone local to (or with knowledge of) North Brisbane. It is designed as a role for a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate psychology student who has experience working in the field of health services and/or with reception/office administrator experience, with an interest or passion for Social Media, and who is passionate about their future career in psychology.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Client File Management (auditing; reporting; new referrals)
  • Social Media Management (development, implementation, and management of SM under supervision)
  • Communication Management (email enquiries; waitlist management; liaison with referrers; reports/docs)
  • Personal Assistant to Clinic Director

REMUNERATION:

Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 

Hourly rate dependent on candidate’s experience, response to selection criteria, and interview

$29 to $36 per hour (including 25% casual loading)

Superannuation Guarantee Contribution (SGC) (Statutory Rate 9.5%) to nominated fund (or HostPlus Employer Fund)

 

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

Required

  • Shared values with Healing Connections Psychology
  • Plan to continue psychology career into postgraduate studies
  • Live in Brisbane

Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to analyse and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and skills of practice software (Halaxy)
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working fast-paced 
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Superior organisation skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to deliver creative social media content (text, image and video)
  • Experience with social media marketing (or ability to learn)
  • Excellent copywriting skills (or ability to learn)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics (or ability to learn)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (psychology) – 3rd or 4th year student
