About the role
We are looking for an Administration Officer/Counsellor to work in our Rhodes office for three (3) days per week.
The role requires administrative excellence and strong telephone skills. If you have a background in counselling and excellent administration skills, this could be the right role for you.
As the first point of contact for our company, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Provide frontline telephone support for distressed callers
- Assess clients and complete intake for counselling services
- Manage the administrative activities of the company
- Handle phone enquiries
- Deliver exceptional customer service to corporate partners and counselling clients
You will work independently and manage time appropriately, and flexibly.

Skills and experience
- Counselling qualification or equivalent experience
- Understanding of contemporary issues around addictions
- Demonstrated ability to display tact, discretion and integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters
- Demonstrated ability to deal with clients displaying behaviours of concern and difficult situations
- High level of communication skills and experience (verbal and non-verbal)
