2U is a global, US based company with a local office situated in Australia. We provide short 6 month courses for training in technology, across Data Analytics, Web Development, UX/UI, FinTech and Cybersecurity. We deliver these courses through our university partners in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide under our brand Trilogy Education Services.
What you’ll do
As an Advisor within our Student Enrollment team, you’ll contact prospective students and guide them through the process of signing up to our programs. You’ll be working in a team of fun, friendly admission coordinators to build relationships with these students and leave a long lasting positive impression. You will directly impact students’ ability to reach their highest potential using the world’s best digital education to leverage off into new or existing careers in the industry.
This is a work-from-home role.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Warm outbound sales calls to engage students who registered interest in one of our courses.
- Provide guidance on curriculum information.
- Achieve measurable results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Adhere to our ‘relationships matter’ and ‘make service your mission’ guiding principles.
- Work proactively to manage difficult conversations ensuring the best outcomes for our students and university partners alike.
Key skills/experience
- 1+ years experience in a sales role or phone-based customer service role
- Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with potential students via phone in a high-volume call environment and via email as needed
- Persistence coupled with a passion for education
- Expertise in utilizing creative problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles
