JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Women’s and Children’s Health Network, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) – Multiple locations available – Kadina, Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Whyalla & Minlaton
  • Salary – Classification – AHP2 – Allied Health Professional L2 – $86,950 to $100,729 
  • Employment Full time –  Term Contract (temporary up to 24 Oct 2025)

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists within CAMHS – Northern Country to join the team as an AHP2 Social Worker, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist working at a full-time capacity, on a long -term basis (until 24 October 2025).

In the role of the CAMHS Clinician, you will provide clinical expertise for children, adolescences and their families with mental health issues. Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator/Team Manager,  delivering specialist child and adolescent mental health care to consumers with complex needs is the primary objective of the role.

Ensuring optimal consumer care involves the provision of assessment, education, counselling and group work.  The attainment of optimum consumer health and recovery is our goal.

You will consult and liaise with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organisations and use your expert clinical knowledge, skills and experience to direct, support, orient and educate other staff;
