Our opportunity
The Adolescent Violence in the Home Graduate provides Intensive case management for the young person, incorporating a comprehensive safety and wellbeing assessment, the development of a care plan and therapeutic intervention, both individual and family-based. The Adolescent Violence in the Home Practitioner also conducts group work that uses concurrent adolescent and parent group sessions to strengthen the parent-adolescent relationship through skills development in areas including respectful communication and assertive parenting. The Step Up program aims to reduce the incidences of violence used by the adolescent and increase the safety of impacted family members.

About you
We are looking for a motivated community services practitioner or graduate to join our team at Cafs. To be successful for this role we are looking for candidates who hold the below skills and attributes:
� Tertiary Qualification in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Youth Work or related discipline (Mandatory)
� A dedicated and committed individual who is passionate about providing support and case management services to our young people and their families. Ability to complete thorough safety and wellbeing assessments, care plans and therapeutic interventions. Ability to apply a range of strategies to achieve client outcomes that are in the best interest of the young people and families. You will also be skilled practitioner who enjoys facilitating group sessions for adolescence and parents.
