A little about the role

Advance Practice roles within the Orange Door (Support and Safety hubs) play a pivotal role in contributing to The Orange Door leadership and providing expert practice advice utilising relevant theoretical frameworks. The Orange Door operates within an Integrated Practice Framework reinforced by Practice Leaders working collaboratively across the various specialist roles within the practice stream. All Practice Leaders are expected to consult and collaborate with the broader leadership team within The Orange Door, and to work to build capability across all staff to work effectively will all clients.

Your main base will be Broadmeadows but you’ll also work across DPV Health sites and at time conduct home visits.

 

About you

To be successful, you will possess/demonstrate the following:

  • Social Work qualifications and must fulfil the membership requirements of the A.A.S.W
  • Extensive family violence practitioner experience including demonstrated skills and knowledge in working with men
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of practice guidance and direction through consultations, clinical supervision, reflective practice, written guidelines and simulation
  • We demonstrated record in working successfully in complex partnerships
