- Work with Deakin stakeholders in addressing any systemic issues, trends or gaps in policy and practices.
- Plan, implement and evaluate welfare programs designed to alleviate food insecurity amongst Deakin students.
- Work with other members of the team to deliver campaigns and projects to promote our services and trends observed in service provision.
To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified preferably in case management, youth work, social work, or community services together with demonstrated work experience in advocacy, negotiation and conflict resolution.
Ultimately it will be your high attention to detail, excellent communication and inter-personal skills and your ability to work with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds that will guarantee your success. Experience in the Higher Education sector will be highly regarded.
