After Hours Practitioner Anglicare Victoria

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your role:

The role calls for experienced practitioners to work in a busy service responding to complex after hours matters supporting our 28 residential units, foster carers and any other person needing support from 4:30pm to 9am. Shifts can be 4:40pm-12am or 4:30pm-10pm with re-call.

The role is mainly phone based, you need to be able to make complex decisions, offer expert advice and problem solve.

 

About you

  • Experience is key, you are making tough decisions over the phone
  • Previous experience working with young people of all ages 
  • Experience working with young people self harming, experiencing mental health issues or substance affected
  • Calm and resilient
  • The ability to work effectively with a team to achieve program goals and objectives
