Odyssey House NSW currently has an exciting opportunity to join our new team working closely with AOD services in the Nepean Blue Mountains region. The role works within a small team, providing aftercare case management to people who are being helped by AOD Clinical Services. Case management including support with employment, training, housing, and living and social skills to ensure recovery gains are maintained.

The Nepean Blue Mountains Community Programs team works as part of a larger community team spread across Greater Sydney and the Southern Highlands and alongside our Residential, Parent’s and Children’s, and Medical programs.
Odyssey House NSW is seeking an innovative and experienced individual to work as part of a team delivering AOD Aftercare.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Relevant VET qualification.
- (Desirable) Tertiary qualification in relevant field.
- Significant experience supporting persons with AOD support needs, mental health support needs and/or co-existing support needs.
- Demonstrated experience providing case management/care coordination in a similar context and environment.
- Demonstrable experience working in team environment with internal and/or external stakeholders to deliver coordinated support.
- Demonstrated experience undertaking brief and comprehensive assessment as well as ongoing assessment of client support needs.
- Demonstrated experience developing care plans.
- Experience working within a non-government AOD and/or MH environment.
- Experience in provision of one-to-one support for people with AOD and/or Mental Health support needs.
- Computer literacy including understanding of MS Office Suite and use of Client Management Systems.
- Demonstrable communication skills including report writing, case note writing.
- Hold a current NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Criminal History Check and Working With Children clearance for paid employment.
