Join the TELUS Health Afterhours Team as a Critical Incident Scoping Clinician

About Us:

TELUS Health, Australia’s largest Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provider is on the lookout for dedicated and experienced Psychologists and Social Workers to join our After-Hours Services team. With a focus on supporting employees in large corporate organisations and government departments, we pride ourselves on making a positive impact in people’s lives.

Responsibilities:

As a Critical Incident Scoping Clinician, you’ll play a crucial role in our After-Hours Services team. This position, which operates on a rotating roster, requires availability over a 7-day period, ensuring coverage from Monday to Friday (6 pm to 8 am the following morning) and Saturday 8am through to 8am on Monday morning (including all day Sunday). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting initial trauma response.
  • Assigning and briefing our external network on Critical Incident projects across Australia 
  • Delivering Critical Incidents and Client Management consultations as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in short-term intervention.
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Behavioural Sciences (Psychologists and Social Workers only)
  • Possess general registration with the relevant professional body (AHPRA/AASW).
  • Have an ABN (Sole Trader, Partnership, Australian Company, or Trustee).
  • Have means of transportation and are willing to travel either state-wide or interstate.
