AHPRA Psychology Supervisor The ORS Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

ORS are looking for Board approved AHPRA Supervisors to undertake supervision of several of our Provisional Psychologists. ORS employs over 180 Provisional Psychologists across the country who are completing their 4+2 & 5+1 internship programs. They work with a diverse range of participants across the lifespan providing Positive Behaviour Support & Psychological Services.

ORS have a large team of Board approved AHPRA Supervisors who deliver:

  • 1:1 supervision reviewing evidence based assessments, diagnostics and interventions practices
  • Group supervision of up to five interns reviewing core competencies and complex case discussions
  • Professional development focused on applying research practices into day to day client servicing.

ORS has developed training packages on all key competencies required for each internship program including access to all psychometrics and support materials for the National Psychology exam which are available to Supervisors. ORS also provide monthly peer supervision for all our Registered Psychologists.

You can also continue to practice as a Senior Psychologist to supplement your responsibilities as a Supervisor, seeing some of our more complex clients.

Learning and Development

At ORS we truly value the clinical and professional development of our staff. That is why we have four dedicated Learning & Development Managers in the Positive Behaviour Support division who all possess 20+ years clinical experience, extensive background in university lecturing, and impressive qualifications. You will be able to connect with these individuals in one on one and group training sessions, plus have the ability to email or pick up the phone at any time to ask their advice on complex cases. This resource is in addition to the many Managers and Team Leaders we have on staff!  

 A few requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with AHPRA registration
  • Board approved AHPRA Supervisor (or ability to become registered)
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
