About the role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Alcohol and Other Drug Counsellor Case Manager with a strong focus to deliver group programs and community education.

As an AOD Counsellor Case Manager you will provide high quality engagement, assessment and support services to your clients using your experience in evidence-based practice principles for withdrawal, support and recovery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide intensive and ongoing support to people who are, or have, undertaken detox through the service
  • Provide high quality engagement, assessment, counselling, case management and support services to clients and their families using evidence-based practice principles
  • Conduct clinical review of individual treatment plans, collaborating with the relevant Programs team and external service providers where necessary 
  • Develop, implement, and review individual treatment goals, which include discharge plans and relapse prevention plans 
  • Provide pre- and post-rehabilitation support and relapse prevention planning 

 

This is a part time ongoing role, working 15.2 hours per week, and the base hourly rate is $39.26 to $46.95 per hour dependent on skills and experience.
