Impact Services are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Allied Health Practitioners to join our team of in-house Allied Health professionals in the Psychology, Social work and Counselling fields. Our Allied Health Professionals compliments the services of our dedicated Employment Services consultants, providing a holistic care approach to barriers to employment, including drug and alcohol treatment, personal development or health interventions. The role will be based at one of our Perth sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with personal growth and development.
  • Work in collaboration with Impact teams and attend case review meetings.
  • Conduct assessment to understand unique goals and barriers and motivate towards employment.
  • Provide Counselling sessions and utilise several therapeutic interventions as well as ongoing support plans.
  • Provide vocational counselling.
  • Liaise and refer to local health professionals and services as required.
  • Undertake and maintain accurate documentation including case notes and report writing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum degree in Social Work (eligibility for registration with AASW), Or minimum tertiary qualification in Psychology (eligibility for registration with APHRA), Or,
  • Minimum Diploma in Counselling for a Counsellor role (eligibility for registration with the ACA or the PCFA).
  • Knowledge of Employment Services (desirable).
  • Have a passion for working towards positive outcomes and assisting individuals into meaningful employment.
  • High level of communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Psychology assessments/ or intervention strategies.
