Allied Health Professional positions available to support Tasmanian Schools from 2023

Are you a Speech and Language Pathologist? Social Worker? Psychologist?

Do you want to play a major role in safeguarding the rights of all students to have an education, to be heard, and to be kept safe from harm?

Use your skills to make a difference in an educational setting working with children and young people from 0-18 years.

Happy and healthy young people are better equipped to learn and thrive.  School psychologists, and school social workers, are key in providing critical evidence-based services to our students, teachers and families to optimise wellbeing, engagement and academic success.

You will be supported to reach your full potential as part of a culture of ongoing professional development in an innovative and collaborative environment. 

You will have access to supervision, mentoring, assessment and therapy resources and work as part of a state-wide professional school support team.

There are also opportunities to engage in multi-disciplinary quality improvement activities.

There are positions available statewide, working within urban and regional communities.

Relocation expenses may be available for successful applicants, along with a range of regional allowances, payments and programs whilst working in a regional community.

Salary Range: 

School Social Worker:  $64,901 to $99,072 per annum

Speech and Language Pathologist – $64,901 to $99,072 per annum

School Psychologist:  $70,794 to $106,764 per annum (12 weeks leave)
