JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Choice of location: Port Augusta or Port Pirie
  • Part-time – 0.5 FTE (37.5 hours per fortnight)

 

Country & Outback Health is a not-for-profit organisation focused on building healthier and happier communities. Delivering a diverse range of mental health, allied health, addiction support, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander health, NDIS services as well as support services for Young People within our headspace centres. Our multidisciplinary team empowers and advocates for healthy rural communities through providing diverse and excellent health services throughout country South Australia. About the role:

  • We are looking for a passionate individual who will have the experience and skills to support clients as they work through behaviour changing interventions in their pursuit toward healthier lifestyles free from alcohol and/or drug use.
  • The role will deliver a community-based service for clients requiring education and support in the recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.

About you:

Experience in a similar role and has minimum qualifications in either;

  • CERT IV or Diploma in Alcohol and Other Drugs
  • AOD Worker
  • Diploma of Community Services (Alcohol, Other Drugs and Mental Health)
  • SMART Training (Desirable)
