Within this position the successful applicant would be expected to deliver high quality, clinical accredited and culturally safe individual and group Case Management and Casework services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are affected by alcohol and/or other drugs in and around the communities of Quirindi, Werris Creek and Caroona/Walhallow.
a) At a minimum, all AOD workers (client-based positions, particularly clinical roles) must have completed or be working towards a Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs.
b) Other qualifications as relevant including Certificate III in Community Work or Clinical Counselling.
c) Clinical specialist staff, such as psychologists or AOD nurses, must be fully qualified and accredited in their field.
