Description:
The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for collaboratively managing and coordinating the an Outreach Program through liaison and negotiation with members throughout a federal government client. In addition, the Coordinator will be involved in the provision of high quality clinical services including initial intake, assessment and referral, evidence based counselling, case management and case coordination to veterans of the Australian Defence Forces and their families.
Duties:

Collaboratively manage, coordinate, and help improve an Outreach Program

Coordinate and participate in the selection, orientation and resourcing of suitably qualified and experienced outreach counsellors
-
Facilitate the delivery of high quality clinical outreach services

Ensure referrals are appropriate, timely, and accompanied by relevant written client and administrative documentation

Apply quality assurance procedures to ensure all aspects of outreach counsellors’ clinical practice, reporting and invoicing meet contractual requirements

Provide information, debriefing and support to contracted service providers as appropriate
Skills & Experience Required:
-
Qualifications as a registered Psychologist or Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration
OR
- Qualification as a Social Worker eligible for membership of the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW)
AND
- Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance
