On behalf of a reputable and well established not for profit organisation in Queensland in their Brisbane South office. We are actively recruiting Behaviour Support Practitioners or ABA Behaviour Therapists to join a very passionate team of Practitioners, who offer ongoing treatment to clients with complex mental health and complex behaviours. The Behaviour Support provided to clients is focused on supporting and training to people with disability and their support networks to improve their wellbeing, quality of life and reduce challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking relevant assessments to identify factors of challenging behaviour
- Implementing and analysing data in order to monitor the plan’s effectiveness
- Review challenging behaviour and make any changes to PBSP where needed
- Provide professional information and advice to people with disability, families, staff, and managers regarding evidence-based approaches to reducing the impact of challenging behaviour.
About You
- Experience in developing and delivering and implementing positive behaviour support to clients with challenging behaviour.
- Completed qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy, Counselling or Behavioural Science
- Demonstrated time-management skills to effectively manage workload, maintain case notes and meet deadlines
- A high level of interpersonal skills including the ability to maintain relationships with customers, service providers, and various stakeholders
- Current WWC, NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check or eligibility to obtain
- Proof of Covid Vaccination, including booster (3 in total)

Remuneration Package
A generous package of up to $88,700 + 10.5% Super + Salary Sacrifice P.A
