About you: 

We are looking for staff who are passionate to provide proactive Positive Behaviour Support to people supporting those with a disability and to those living with a disability.

Required 

  • Bachelor/Undergraduate degree in either Education (special education preferred), Allied Health, Social Work or Applied Behaviour Analysis (please do not apply for the role without this)
  • To be available to work a minimum of 25 billable hours per week

Personal and Interpersonal Skills required:

-ability to show empathy and be empathic to those in need 

Desirable: 

  • Experience creating Behaviour Support Plans
  • Experience working with people who engage in behaviours of concern and living with a disability
  • Knowledge of NDIS Specialised Behaviour Support, writing Functional Assessments and developing comprehensive behaviour support plans

Training Provided: 

If not yet undertaken, Influential Growth will support staff to develop the required training to feel knowledgeable, supported and upskilled in the areas needed.

Contractor Requirements by commencement date: 

  • Drivers license & Car + comprehensive insurance
  • Laptop/Phone
  • Home office materials
  • ABN
  • NDIS worker screening + Professional indemnity and liability insurance
  • Working with Children’s Check

Pay rates: 

  • Between $90 -100 per hour depending on experience + GST & Super
  • Opportunity for rate increase
