About the Role:
This role offers you the opportunity to join a team striving for meaningful change in the community. Working alongside our dedicated team of allied health professionals, this role will see the development and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans as per the NDIS Behaviour Support Legislation and guidelines.
Our Behaviour Support plans centre around the promotion of rights of people with a disability, reducing the use of restrictive practices and reducing the occurrences of behaviours of concern.
Ideal candidate:
- The ideal candidate will have experience working collaboratively with stakeholders, families and people with a disability.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical basis of behaviour and evidence based strategies for behaviour support.
- Show compassion, understanding and kindness in their therapeutic approach.
- Hold strong research, analytical and report writing skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in: Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Social Sciences or similar. Candidates working towards completion of these degrees are encouraged to apply.
