Our Client is a Victorian based NDIS provider, specialising in working with participants with complex care requirements, across physical and intellectual disabilities, and mental health. They are also empowering their clients and families to have maximum choice and control in their lives through Supported Independent Living and Short-Term Accommodation houses.
We are looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their expanding team. Your ideas and experience will be welcomed and you will be supported to achieve your client’s goals.
You will deliver high level, evidence-based, clinical advice and assistance to participants, their families, and key stakeholders. Through the creation, implementation and education of positive behaviour support plans, your person-centred approach will focus on reducing the impact of challenging behaviours to enhance their quality of life.
- Work with your own caseload, assisting individuals and their families to identify their needs through assessment and tailored positive behaviour support planning.
- Work as part of a trans/multi-disciplinary model with a range of professionals to provide a holistic and integrated approach to support.
- Liaise with and develop strong, collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, government, and non-government service providers for ongoing support.

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum of Core or Proficient Practitioner level as per the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
- Excellent relationship-building and team work skills
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of positive behaviour support services
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check
- Current driver’s licence, and willingness/ability to travel
- Appropriate Australian working rights
